1 lb. hamburger (80/20 lean to fat ratio)
1 sm. onion, chopped
2 carrots, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
1⅔ c. 1 minute oatmeal
¼ c. ketchup
2 eggs
garlic powder to taste
salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients together, using hands sometimes works best. Put into a greased baking dish shaped into a loaf. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.

This is the recipe we use for meat loaf when we are cooking for the Lakewood UMC Garage Sale team. This recipe came from Kim Erby. I have been cooking with them for almost 10 years and Bill joined us when he retired.
