6 qt. popped corn
2 c. light brown sugar
½ c. light corn syrup
½ lb. butter
¼ tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda

Directions:
Pre-heat oven to 220º. Keep popcorn warm in oven. Put in saucepan brown sugar, corn syrup, butter, cream of tarter, and salt. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Cook until the mixture reaches 260ºF. Remove from heat and add soda. Remove popcorn from oven and pour the mixture over it. Stir well until all is coated. Return to oven and bake at 200ºF for about an hour. Stir 2 to 3 times. Remove from oven and pour out on cookie sheet.
