1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup flour
1/4 cup minced onions
2 chicken boullion cubes
1/4 tsp salt
dash pepper
2/4 c milk
1/2 c cheese
1 stalk broccoli or asparagus

Directions:
Directions:
In medium saucepan boil 1/2 cup water and 1/4 tsp salt. Prepare broccoli, cut into small flowerets and boil until tender.

Melt butter in another saucepan. Stir in onions and cook until transparent. Add flour, bouillon cubes, salt and platter. Stir constantly until mixture is smooth o- about 1 minute. Remove from heat and gradually stir in milk. Bring to boil over medium heat. Reduce heat to simmer, stir in grated cheese. Drain broccoli when done add to soup. Serve hot.
