1 box of cake mix, your choice of flavor
1 can of pie filling,any flavor, OR 1 can of crushed pineapple (not drained)
Butter to dot the top of cake

Pour the pie filling or pineapple into the bottom of a 9 x 13 baking dish. Spread the dry cake mix over the top of the fruit evenly. Dot the top of the cake mix with pats of butter.

Bake at 350º for 40-50 minutes until top appears crusty.
