32 caramels

5 tablespoons evaporated milk

1 cup of flour

3/4 cup brown sugar

1/2 teaspoon soda

1/4 teaspoon salt

3/4 cup butter

1 cup chocolate chips

1/2 cup chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350°

Melt caramel and evaporated milk over low heat with occasional stirring. Combine all ingredients except chocolate chips and pecans in another bowl. Press 1/2 of the crumb mixture in the bottom of an 11 x 7“ pan. Take this at 350°F for 10 minutes.

Remove from oven and sprinkle with chocolate chips and pecans. Spread evenly. Pour caramel mixture over the top and spread evenly. Sprinkle with remaining crumb mixture. Bake another 15 to 20 minutes Or until golden brown.

Chill for 1 to 2 hours. Cut into bars.
