Ingredients: Dry Ingredients
2 1/2 cups all purpose flour 3/4 cup brown sugar 2 tsp baking powder 1 tsp baking soda 1/2 tsp salt 1/2 cup Chopped walnuts 14 cup skor baking bits
Wet Ingredients 1 cup Buttermilk 1/2 cup butter melted 2 eggs 1 tbsp caramel flavouring 182 tsp vanilla extract
Optional Ingredients
1 tbsp coarse sugar

Directions:Preheat oven to 425
Line 12 serving muffin pan with papers
Combine dry ingredients in a medium bowl and whisk so everything is well mixed. In a separate bowl ,mix wet ingredients Making sure sure eggs are well mixed in.
Pour wet ingredients into dry and mix JUST until combined. If you stir to much meffins will be dense.
Scoop batter evenly into muffin cups. Spay tops of muffins and the top edges with cooking spray as these will be big muffins and you don't want the tips sticking to the pan.
Sprinkle tops of muffins with coarse sugar.
Bake for 7 minutes at 425f then reduce temperature to 325f and cook for another 15 minutes until tops are brown and muffins feel firm in the center.
Cool for 5-10 min on rack before removing from muffin pan
