½ c unsalted butter -softened
½ c brown sugar
½ c granulated sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 ¼ c all purpose flour
1 tbsp cornstarch
½ tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
1 ½ c semi-sweet morsels
1 c chopped toasted pecans (optional)
Baking parchment paper.

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together butter and sugars till smooth.
Add egg and vanilla and stir.
Stir in flour, cornstarch, baking soda, and salt.
Stir in chocolate morsels.
Drop by tablespoons onto lined baking sheet.
Refrigerate for 1 hour.
Preheat oven to 350º.
Bake for 15-20 minutes till golden brown on edges.
