Directions:Cook bacon but don't overcook it too hard & crisp because it still cooks in the oven. Break up into small pieces. Chop onion, fairly fine. Shred Block of Cheddar Cheese. Combine with cooked bacon and chopped purple onion & miracle whip. Mix Well. Separate the pita shells & on each separated shell spread the mixture over the shell. Bake at 400 F for 8 - 10 minutes until bubbly and crisp. Cut into wedges and serve.
Notes: Mixture can be made the day before and refrigerated. I use Marble Cheese. I also add toppings like tomatoes and mushrooms. Add want you want. Don't make the mistake of putting to much of the mixture on though. |
