1 Cup Miracle Whip Light or Regular
1 Block of Mild Cheddar Cheese (block you can buy at Safeways for approx $6)
1 Purple Onion - Chopped fairly fine. (Size of a small orange)
1/2 LB of Bacon
1 Package of Pita Shells

Directions:
Directions:
Cook bacon but don't overcook it too hard & crisp because it still cooks in the oven. Break up into small pieces.
Chop onion, fairly fine.
Shred Block of Cheddar Cheese.
Combine with cooked bacon and chopped purple onion & miracle whip. Mix Well. Separate the pita shells & on each separated shell spread the mixture over the shell.
Bake at 400 F for 8 - 10 minutes until bubbly and crisp.
Cut into wedges and serve.

Notes: Mixture can be made the day before and refrigerated.
I use Marble Cheese.
I also add toppings like tomatoes and mushrooms. Add want you want.
Don't make the mistake of putting to much of the mixture on though.
