1 head cauliflower
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 cup water
1 tsp. salt
1 cup frozen peas
8 ounces mushrooms sliced
cornstarch plus a little water
1 ( 12-oz.) can evaporated milk
1/2 stick butter
1/2 pound diced bacon cook until crisp
salt/pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Cut cauliflower into flowerets, removing center stem. You can cut outer leaves and add. Saute' in oil until softened but not completely cooked. Add 1 cup of water and 1 tsp. of salt and cover to cook. Add frozen peas and sliced mushrooms during last 5 minutes. Add cornstarch to a little water and stir into mixture over low heat to thicken. You want it to be very thick. Add one can evaporated milk and 1/2 a stick of butter and stir. Cook entire mixture over low to medium heat stirring often. Add bacon and heat together a little longer. Salt and pepper to taste
