1 box graham crackers
½ cup evaporated milk
2 sticks butter
2 ½ cups sugar
2 cups pecan halves or crushed
1 Tablespoon vanilla (optional)
1 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325º. Line 2 cookie sheets with aluminum foil and lightly grease. Lay graham crackers evenly on cookie sheets (break if needed to fit, about 1 1/2 packages per cookie sheet.}. Using a large saucepan bring evaporated milk,, butter, and sugar to a boil for about 3 minutes. ***STIR CONTINUOUSLY*** Add vanilla and cinnamon, optional. Add pecans and remove from heat. Immediately pour evenly over graham crackers (try not to dump it all in center because it won't break evenly later)). Bake at 325ºfor 8 minutes. Remove and allow to cool completely. Break apart and store in airtight container.
