Ingredients: 1 lb hamburger
9-12 Lasagna noodles (approx. 3 noodles per layer) **the ones you cook are way better than the ready to use ones
1 onion, chopped 4-5 cloves garlic, chopped 1-2 ribs of celery, chopped
¾ quart of favorite spaghetti sauce ¾ quart of favorite spaghetti sauce * I like 4 cheese and spicy garlic
1 can sliced mushrooms, drained
1 T dried chili flakes 1 T dry oregano 1 T dry basil 1 T dry parsley S & P
500 ml Dry cottage cheese 1 egg ½ cup parmesan cheese
Mozzarella cheese
9x13 deep dish foil lasagna pan

Directions:Brown and drain hamburger
Saute onion, garlic and celery... add to hamburger
Add spaghetti sauces, mushrooms and seasonings
Let this simmer for at least ½ hour.
**Boil noodles according to package directions while hamburger mixture is simmering
Assemble the lasagna as per below in a 9x13 deep dish foil lasagna pan: 1st layer - enough sauce to cover bottom of pan 2nd layer - noodles 3rd layer - 500 ml container of dry cottage cheese mixed with 1 egg, S & P and parmesan cheese 4th layer - noodles 5th layer -Sauce 6th layer - noodles 7th layer - mix the remaining ¼ of each of your spaghetti sauces together and pour over top
Cover with foil and bake for about 45 minutes @ 350º
Uncover... sprinkle with shredded mozzarella cheese
Put back in the oven for about 15 minutes or until cheese is gooey! |
