15 cups water
7½ cups pickling vinegar
1½ T alum (I don't use)
1 cup pickling salt
18 cloves garlic
12 sprigs dill
cucumbers - enough small cucumbers to fill the jars - tightly packed

Pack in jars (in order):
2 cloves garlic - bottom of jar
2 sprigs dill
cukes
1 sprig dill
1 clove garlic

Boil the following:
15 cups water
7½ cups pickling vinegar
1½ T alum
1 cup pickling salt

Boil jar lid until rubber seal is soft

Pour brine into jars ¼ " - ½" from top, wipe rim and seal while hot.

Boil 10 minutes in water bath then store in cool place
