1 1/2 lbs of sirloin beef or a cut of beef for stews.
2 bags of frozen French cut string beans
1 16 oz canned tomato sauce
I medium onion chopped
2 cloves of garlic
2 T butter

-Add butter and onions then minced garlic to a pot and sautť until
Itís translucent.
- add cubed meat to onions until itís browned on medium heat.
-add tomato sauce to meat and let simmer for a couple of minutes on medium to low heat
before adding 4-5 cups of water. Add salt and pepper to taste..
Bring to a boil, then lower heat to low to medium heat and cover..
Check periodically if more water needs to be added to pot ...
45 minutes into cooking meat, check for tenderness of meat ..
depending on the cut of meat you use will determine how long this process will take.
Once meat is tender, add string beans and stir together. Simmer covered on medium heat until beans are cooked.
PS.. with every step check to see if a little bit of salt and pepper should be added ...
This recipe is served with cooked white rice and vermicelli...

Also this recipe can include a bunch of other vegetables..such as zucchini (add a bay leaf) spinach, peas.
I usually add the garlic with strings beans and spinach only .. the rest with onion only.
