1 3=oz pkg cream cheese, softened
1/2 c butter softened
1 c sifted all pupose flour

⅔ c coarsly broken pecans
1 egg
¾ c brown sugar
1T butter softened
1tsp vanilla
dash salt

Directions:
Directions:
In mixing bowl blend together cream cheese and ½ c butter; stir in flour Chill 1 hr. Shape into twenty=four 1 in balls, place in ungreased 1¾ in muffin pan. Press dough against the bottom and sides of the pan. 'Sprinkle half of the pecans over dough. Beat together egg, brown sugar, 1 T butter, vanilla and salt till smooth. spoon egg mixture atop "tarts" Top with remaining pecans. Bake at 325º till filling is set, 25 minutes. coolremove from pans. Makes 24
