2/3 c shortening
2/3 c sour milk. (Add a little Lemon juice to make it sour)
1 1/4 c mashed ripe bananas
2 1/4 c flour
1 1/3 c sugar
1 1/4 tsp baking powder
1 1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
2/3 c chopped nuts (walnuts)
2 eggs
Semi sweet Chocolate chips (mini) as desired

Directions:

Preheat 350

Whip together:
shortening, sour milk, and mashed bananas,

Sift together:
Flour
Sugar
Baking powder
Baking soda
Salt

Combine together and add chopped nuts and eggs and semi sweet chocolate chips

Makes 2 loaves
Bake 350 for 45-50 min or check at 20-25 min for muffins
