1 cup butter, not margarine
1 ¼ cup sugar
⅓ cup toasted almond slivers
6 oz. milk chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Combine butter and sugar in saucepan and bring to a boil. Once it boils, cover with lid and cook for 3 minutes. Remove lid and stir occasionally until temperature reaches 300º. Remove from heat and stir in almonds. Pour onto buttered sheet. Let sit for one minute them sprinkle chocolate chips on top. Use rubber spatula to spread chocolate in an even layer across toffee. Let cool completely, then break into pieces and store in air tight container. Will keep for 1-2 weeks.
