Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1½ lbs. ground beef
1 c. chopped green sweet pepper (optional - we don't add)
1 c. chopped onion
1 - 15 oz. can tomato sauce
1 large jar of Prego or Ragu spaghetti sauce
½ tsp. garlic powder
½ tsp. dried oregano
2 c. shredded mozzarella cheese
1 c. all-purpose flour
1 c. milk
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 tbsp. cooking oil
⅓ c. grated parmesan cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400º.

In a large skillet, cook and stir the ground beef, sweet pepper (if using) and onion until the meat is browned. Drain.

Add the tomato sauce, spaghetti sauce, garlic powder and oregano to the meat mixture in the skillet. Mix well. Bring the mixture to a boil. Remove from heat.

Immediately spoon the sauce mixture into a 3-quart round casserole dish. Sprinkle with the mozzarella cheese.

In a medium glass measuring cup, stir together the flour, milk, eggs and cooking oil. Mix well. Carefully pour the popover batter over the mozzarella cheese in the casserole. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.

Bake in the 400º oven about 25 minutes or until light brown and set.

NOTE: you can convert this dish into a Mexican "pizza" by substituting taco seasoning mix for the spaghetti sauce and cheddar/Monterey Jack cheese for mozzarella cheese!
