1 8 or 9 inch pie crust
1 lb sausage cooked and drained
8 slices Bread or toast
2 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
4 eggs slightly beaten
2 1/2 cups milk
1/2 tea salt`
1/4 tea dry mustard

Directions:
Directions:
trim crust if desired
tear bread into pieces
alternate layers of bread, sausage and cheese, ending with cheese
beat eggs, milk , salt and mustard
pour over layers
chill over night
bake 325 for 45 minutes until firm and browned
let stand a few minutes
cut and serve
keep well in refrigerator
reheat in microwave
