Several ears of fresh corn on the cob, shucked
1 cup milk
1 tsp. sugar
1 stick of unsalted butter

Serve with more butter, salt and pepper

Directions:
Fill your pot to within 3" of the top with water, and add 1 cup milk, 1 t. sugar, and a stick of unsalted butter. Place ears of corn in the pot and turn heat to low. Simmer for 10-15 minutes.
