Dry

3 c flour
2 c sugar
½ c cocoa
2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt

Wet

2 tsp vanilla
½ c oil
2 c water
2 tbsp vinegar

Directions:
Mix dry ingredients together. Make a well in the centre and pour in the wet ingredients. Mix together and pour into lined muffin tins. Bake at 325ºF for 15-20 minutes. If making a cake bake for 45 minutes.

I'm fairly certain that this is the only birthday cake Mom made you guys when you were kids. This is the recipe that I screwed up when I was making Justin's 5th birthday cake. In my defense...you jerks were probably fighting which is how I missed the baking soda. Poor Justin's rubber birthday cake.
