Ingredients: 2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons minced onion, dried or fresh
1 teaspoon minced garlic, heaping
1 ˝ cups chicken broth
˝ teaspoon Italian seasoning
˝ teaspoon fine sea salt
˝ teaspoon black pepper
˝ teaspoon red pepper flakes
1 tablespoon dried parsley
1 cup heavy cream
16 oz. angel hair pasta
1 lb. chicken tenderloins about 9-12 pieces
salt and pepper
1 cup flour
4 tbsp. olive oil
2 red bell peppers
1 red onion
freshly grated parmesan cheese for garnish

Directions:In medium size sauce pan add butter, minced onion, minced garlic and sauté over medium heat for 1-2 minutes.
Add chicken broth, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper red pepper flakes and dried parsley.
Simmer for 15 minutes on medium low heat.
Add heavy whipping cream and simmer on low without boiling for 10 minutes.
In a separate pot boil angel hair pasta according to box directions.
To prepare your chicken sprinkle with salt and pepper and dip in flour.
Fry in olive oil in separate skillet over medium heat 3-5 minutes on each side until golden brown / set aside.
In same pan fry red onion and red peppers that you have chopped about 3-5 minutes until caramelized.
Take the creamy garlic sauce and add half to the drained pasta and stir to incorporate.
Add all the bell peppers and red onion and add into pasta.
Dish up pasta adding chicken on top.
Drizzle more sauce on top and add more chicken and garnish with parmesan cheese to taste. |
