Brownie Batter:
1 cup butter
2 squares unsweetened chocolate
4 eggs
2 cups sugar
Pinch of salt
2 Tablespoons vanilla
1 cup flour
1 cup chopped nuts

Icing:
1/4 cup cocoa
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup milk
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter and chocolate over hot water in a double boiler (or in the microwave checking and stirring every 20 seconds).
In a separate bowl, beat eggs and add sugar gradually. Add salt and vanilla. Add the cooled chocolate to the egg and sugar mixture. Fold in the flour and chopped nuts.

Pour into greased and floured 9 x 13 pan. Place brownies on the second rack of oven with a pan of hot water on the bottom rack. Bake at 350º for 45 minutes.


Icing:
Combine all the icing ingredients except the vanilla in a saucepan and boil for one minute. Remove from heat, add vanilla and stir a few times to incorporate. Pour over brownies and cool before cutting into squares.
