1 c. - quick oatmeal
1 c. - boiling water
c. - butter, melted
1 c. - sugar
1 c. - brown sugar
2 - eggs, beaten
tsp. - baking soda
1 T. - cinnamon
tsp. - salt
1 & 1/3 c. - flour
c. - brown sugar
2 T. - flour
2 T. - butter, melted
1 c. - walnuts, chopped

Boil water. Add oatmeal mix-let stand 20 minutes. Then add melted butter, sugar, & brown sugar. Next add eggs, baking soda, cinnamon, salt, and flour. Blend well. Pour into 9 or 10 inch cake pan that has been greased and floured on the bottom. Next mix the bottom 4 ingredients and sprinkle on top of cake. Bake at 350 for 35 to 40 min.
