2 sticks butter, softened
2 cups sugar
1 cup milk, warm
6 eggs
4 cups flour
1 Tbsp vanilla
2 tsp baking powder
4 Tbsp whisky
1 Tbsp lemon juice mixed with 1 tsp baking soda
½ cup chopped walnuts

1. Preheat oven to 350º

2. In a bowl
Beat egg whites
Set aside

3. In another mixing bowl
Cream butter for about 15 min
Add sugar and beat more
Add eggs yolks one at a time
Add warm milk, lemon juice/b.soda, whiskey
Add egg whites
Add 3 cups of flour mixed with nuts, b. powder and vanilla
Add rest of flour

4. Grease round pan
Place a quarter wrapped with wax paper then aluminum foil at the bottom
Pour batter in the pan

5. Bake until brown

6. Remove from pan once cooled
