3 cups rolled oats
3 tsp baking powder
2 1/2 cups flour
1/4 tsp salt
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup lard
1/2 cup butter

Directions:
Directions:
Put oats in bowl, sift in flour, baking powder and salt.
Add sugar. Melt butter and lard, add to dry ingredients.
Add milk. Mix all.
Roll into thin cookies, put two together with dates or jam in between.


Bake at 350 º for 14 minutes.
