2 pounds yellow squash
½ large onion, chopped
1 sleeve saltines or Ritz
1 cup cheddar cheese, grated
2 eggs
½ cup milk
½ cup butter, melted and divided
Salt and pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Steam cut up squash and onion lightly.
Drain and set aside.
In bowl combine cracker crumbs and cheese. Set aside.
In large bowl combine squash mix with ½ of crackers and cheese mix.
Beat eggs and milk together and add to bowl.
Melt butter and add ½ of it to squash mix. Salt and pepper to taste.
Spread into 9x 13 pan. Top with remaining crackers and cheese and then remaining butter.
Bake at 400º for 25 minutes.
