1+1/2 cup oil
4 eggs, separated
2 cups sugar
4 TB HOT water
2+1/2 cups flour
3 tsp Baking powder
1/4 tsp sa;l1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp vanilla
4 egg whites

FROSTING:

1 cup sugar
3 TB flour
1 - 13 oz. can evaporated milk
1 stick margarine or butter
1 tso vanilla
1 - 3 oz can of coconut

chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º

Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form, set aside

Mix cake in order given. Fold in egg whites.

Pour into 3 - 10' round cake pans or 1 - 9 x 13 pan

Bake about 40 minutes

Make frosting by mixing all ingredients & cook until thickened.

Cool, then spread over cooled cake
