2+1/2 cup flour
1+1/2 cups brown sugar
1/2 cup butter
1 cup sour milk ( or buttermilk)
1 tsp soda

Preheat oven to 375º

Mix together flour, sugar & butter with pastry blender, like you were making a pie crust, but take out 1 cup of crumbs for topping

Add milk & baking soda

Put into a greased 8 x 8" baking pan & sprinkle crumbs over the top & bake for 20 minutes.
