6 tart apples
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup pastry flour
1/4 tsp cinnamon
2 tbsp margarine or butter
1/4 cup raisins
6 tsp orange juice

Directions:
Directions:
Pare apples; with tines of fork go round and round apples, making deep indentations; remove cores. Mix together sugar, flour and cinnamon; rub in margarine or butter until mixture is crumbly. Press this mixture into creases until apples are completely coated. Place in shallow baking dish; fill each core with raisins; pour 1 tsp orange juice in each. Bake in moderate oven until tender. 350 for 30-40 minutes; lift out carefully so that spicy overcoat will stay in place; Serve cold with light cream.
