2 c plus 2 T sugar
1¾ c AP flour
¾ c plus 2 T unsweetened cocoa powder
1½ t baking soda
1½ t baking powder
1½ t salt
2 large eggs
1 c milk
½ c vegetable oil
1 t vanilla
¾ c plus 2 T boiling water

Directions:
Directions:
In a large bowl whish the sugar, flour, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. In another bowl, whisk the eggs, milk, oil and vanilla. Stir the wet ingredients into the dry, mixing thoroughly, then slowly pour in the boiling water, and mix continue to mix until it's blended well. (the batter will be thin).
Pour the batter into a well greased and floured pan and bake until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Cool well.

I use 10 inch round pans and they take approximately 20 minutes to bake.
