1 c shortening
1 c peanut butter
1 c brown sugar
1 c sugar
2 eggs
¼ c milk
2 tsp vanilla extract

3½ c flour
2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt


2 (9 oz) pkg chocolate kisses
extra sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º. Grease baking sheets.

Mix butter, shortening, and sugar till light and fluffly. Add eggs, milk, and vanilla.
Sift flour, baking soda, and salt. Add to creamed butter/sugar mixture blend well.

Chill 30 minutes. Make 1" balls. Roll in sugar and place on baking sheets. Unwrap chocolate and press one kiss into center of each cookie.

Bake 10-12 minutes. Remove to cooling rack
