2 small onions (chopped)
3 carrots chopped
3 medium potatoes chipped
2 tbsp butter
1 cup water
1 (6½ oz) cans minced clams with juice
4 tbsp butter (melted)
6 tbsp flour
4 cups milk
1 tsp salt
¼ tsp pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in a 4 quart saucepan – add 20 min (at almost boiling until vegetables are tender – stir in clams and juice – in a separate bowl combine butter and flour to make a paste – add to pot – add milk, salt, and pepper – reduce heat and cook until soup thickens, stirring constantly
