¾ c butter
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
½ c sugar
1 c brown sugar
¼ c water
1 T molasses
2 c flour
½ tsp soda
1 tsp salt
2 c oatmeal
1 c sliced almonds
1 c dried cranberries
1 c white chocolate baking chips

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350º. Grease cookie sheets.


Cream butter, sugar, egg, water, vanilla, and molasses.

In separate bowl sift flour, salt, and soda. Add to creamed mixture, blend well.

Stir in oats, nuts, dried fruit, and candy.

Drop by teaspoons fulls on to prepared baking sheets.

Bake 12-15 minutes.

This recipe works well for variations. Change it up with raisins and walnuts. Always bake a test cookie to assure there is enough flour to get desired cookie.
