Make beef stew with thick gravy with diced carrots and potatoes and green peas.
Leave to cool.

Pastry :(I use this pastry for any savory filling)
3 cups all purpose flour
1 cup lard
½ tsp baking powder
⅔ tsp salt
¾ cup cold water

Directions:

Pastry
Mix flour, lard, salt & bp together .
Add water and mix.(Food processor can be used for this process)
Bring together and set aside for 30 mins in fridge

Assembly
Roll our pastry into circles or use large size perogy cutter.
Fill with stew filling ,crimp edges together , prick with fork.
Bake at 375 F till pastry turns golden.
Can use egg wash if wanted
