2/3 to 1C. Sugar
1 T Cornstarch
1C. Water
3 C. Fruit
Cinnamon

1 C. Flour
1 T. Sugar
1 1/2 tsp, Baking Powder
1/2 tsp. Salt
3 T. Shortening
1/2 C. Milk

Directions:
Directions:
400 Degree Oven - glass baking dish

Mix sugar and cornstarch in pan. Stir in water. Add fruit. Bring to boil and boil 1 minute. 1 1/2 qt. baking dish. dot with butter. Sprinkle with cinnamon.

Add flour, sugar, baking powder and salt in bowl. Cut in shortening. Stir in milk. Drop by spoonfuls onto hot fruit.

Bake 25-30 minutes
Serve warm
