Ingredients:  
2 lbs scallops
1 cups dry white vermouth
bay leaf
salt and pepper to taste
2 Tbsp minced shallots
1 lb small mushrooms
melted butter

Directions:
Directions:
Place scallops in bowl with vermouth, bay leaf, salt and pepper. Cover and marinate in fridge 2 hours, turning over occassionally. Remove stems from mushrooms. Alternate on skewers with scallops. Brush with butter. Broil 3" from fire until brown on all sides, brushing with butter while cooking for 5-7 minutes.
