1 (10 3/4 oz) can Cream of Mushroom Soup

1 (8 oz) container sour cream

1/2 cup butter, melted

1 (32 oz) bag frozen hash brown potatoes

1 med.onion, chopped

1 (8 mm) package shredded cheddar cheese

Black pepper to taste

1/2 cup crushed corn flakes.

Directions:
Directions:
Stir soup, sour cream, butter, potatoes, onions and cheese in a 3 qt. oven proof shallow baking dish. Season with black pepper. Sprinkle corn flak crumbs on top.

Bake at 350º for 45 min. or until hot and bubbling

A friend of mine, Jill hence the name, gave me this recipe. It is easy to make and great for Christmas morning. You can mix it, put it in the oven and go open presents. I have even mixed it up Christmas Eve so all I have to do is pop it in the oven.
