6 cups precooked northern beans
½ pound raw bacon, diced
1 onion, finely diced
3 Tbs molasses
1½ teas ground pepper
½ teas dry mustard
½ cup gluten free ketchup
1Tbs gluten free Worcestershire sauce
¼ cup brown sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Rinse and drain and add to a saucepan with enough water to cover the beans by 2 inches. Cover and let beans soak overnight.
Drain the beans, then rinse and drain again. Add water to saucepan to cover the beans by 2 inches. Bring to a boil over high heat, and then reduce the heat and simmer the beans for 40 minutes to 1 hour or until they just begin to become tender. Drain, and add to the slow cooker according to the recipe.

Layer cooked beans, bacon, and onions in a greased 4 quart slow cooker. In a bowl whisk together the molasses, ground pepper, dry mustard, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, and brown sugar.
Pour sauce over the layered beans. Cover and cook on high for 4-5 hours or on low for 8-10 hours
