2 cups White Lily self-rising flour
1/4 cup cold butter
2/3-3/4 cups buttermilk

Directions:
Directions:
1) Cut cold butter into flour until it resembles course meal
2) Gradually add milk to flour mixture until dry ingredients are moistened
3) Turn dough out onto a floured surface
4) DO NOT knead dough very much-only until covered with flour and easy to handle
5) Shape dough into balls-place on greased cast iron griddle. Press down top of biscuit and grease top.
6) Bake at 500º 10 to 15 minutes until golden brown.
