2 onions
¼ cup butter
2-16 oz cans of cooked sliced potatoes
1-16 oz can sliced, cooked carrots
1-16 oz can green peas
¼ cup uncooked rice
1 lb sausage, hamburg, ground pork or fish fillets
1-10 oz can tomato soup
1-10 can water
salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Fry onions in butter, spread in 2 quart casserole dish. Add each vegetable with its juice in layers. Sprinkle rice on top of veggies. Arrange meat on top of rice, crumbling meat as you make layer. Mix soup with water, pour over all. Salt and pepper to taste. Cover and bake at 350º for 1 hour, uncover, bake another 30 minutes.
