Sausage and Apple Pie Recipe

1 lb sausages
3-4 apples sliced
2 Tblsp sugar optional

Biscuit Crust
2 C flour (Gluten free blend if you like)
4 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 C shortening
1/4 C butter
1/2 C milk

Directions:
Directions:
Brown the sausages in an oven proof skillet. While sausages are browning prepare the crust by cutting in the shortening and butter in with a pastry cutter. Add the milk and toss with a fork til mixed. Roll out to match the size of the skillet. Sprinkle the sliced apple, and sugar if using, over the sausages. Lay the crust over the top of the sausages and apples, sealing the edges as best you can.

Place in a 400º oven for 35 minutes
