1 Cup shortening
1 ½ Cup brown sugar
2 eggs
Grated rind of 1 orange
pinch of salt
1 tsp vanilla
½ Cup sour cream
3 Cups flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 scant tsp baking soda

Icing
Juice of 1 orange
chunk of softened butter
Confectioners sugar
Directions:
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375º
2. Cream shortening and sugar together, add eggs and then grated orange rind
3. Mix in salt, vanilla and sour cream
4. Add dry ingredients
5. Bake for around 12 minutes
6. Mix together icing and frost cooler cookies.
