1 lb. pasta
1 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
1 - 1½ lb. mozzarella cheese sliced
½ lb. shredded mild cheddar cheese
bread crumbs for the top

SAUCE
3 cups milk
6 tablespoons butter
6 tablespoons flour
½ teaspoon salt

SAUCE
Place butter, flour and salt in microwavable 1 qt. bowl.
Microwave on high for 1 ½ minutes, stirring after 1 minute.
Gradually stir in milk and wisk together.
Microwave on high for 6-7 minutes, stirring every minute and a half until thick and bubbly. Makes 3 cups.

Cook pasta and mix with parmesan cheese and half of the sauce.
Add cheddar cheese.
Put some sauce on the bottom of buttered baking dish.
Cover with a layer of pasta and top with a layer of mozzarella cheese and a few more tablespoons of sauce.
Make another layer of macaroni and sauce.
Dot with butter.
Cover and bake at 350º for 45 minutes.
Sprinkle with bread crumbs.
Return to oven, uncovered, for 15 minutes or until brown.
