3/4 cup butter, melted
1 cup white sugar
1 egg
1/4 cup molasses
2 cups all purpose flour
2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp ground cloves
1/2 tsp ground ginger
1/2 cup white sugar

Directions:
Directions:
1. In a med bowl, mix together butter, 1 cup of sugar, and egg until smooth. Stir in molasses
2. Combine flour, baking soda, cinnamon, ginger, & cloves, salt. Blend into molasses mixture. Cover & chill for 1 hr
3. Preheat oven to 375F. Roll dough into walnut sized balls and roll in remaining white sugar.
4. Place cookies 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet
5. Bake for 8-10 min's, until tops are cracked. Cool on wire rack
