5 egg yolks
1/2 cup sugar
2 large lemons, juice and grated rind
1/4 cup sweet butter

Directions:
Directions:
In heavy saucepan, combine egg yolks and sugar over low heat. Add lemon juice and rind. Stir adding butter, little by little. Cook until thick, stirring constantly

Pour into clean jar. Cover and refrigerate. Will keep for months in the refrigerator.
