48 Hershey kisses, unwrapped
1/2 c shortening
3/4 c creamy peanut butter
1/3 c sugar
1/3 c packed light brown sugar
1 egg
2 T milk
1 tsp vanilla
11/2 c flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
extra sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven 375. Beat shortening with peanut butter...add sugar and brown sugar. Beat til fluffy.
Add egg, milk and vanilla...beat well. Mix together flour, baking soda and salt. Gradually beat into peanut butter mixture. Shape in 1" balls. Roll in sugar and place on ungreased cookie sheet.
bake 8-10 minutes til lightly browned. Immediately press a kiss on cookie. Cookies will crack around edges. Remove to wire rack to cool.
