12 eggs
2 cups of sugar
1 cup of butter or margarine
8 cups of flour
6 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. vanilla (optional)

Icing:
2 cups powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
3 to 4 tbsp. of milk
Add a couple drops of food coloring (optional)

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350

Beat butter and sugar until fluffy, add 1 egg at a time and beat.
Add flour and baking powder, stir until dough is a smooth texture.
On a lightly floured board, take a smal piece of dough and roll it into a 1 inch thick rope.
Cut the rope into 2-3 inch sections and then tie into a knot.
Place on a cookie sheet and bake for 10-15 minutes or until golden brown.
After they have cooled you can icing them.
Mix the powdered sugar, milk, vanilla and food coloring if wanted. It should be a little thick and not runny.
