1 cup flour
1/3 cup sugar
1 stick softened butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 egg yolk

Directions:
Directions:
Put all ingredients in a bowl.
Mix with hands.
Do not substitute butter with anything else.

Once thoroughly mixed, roll 1 inch balls of dough and drop on cookie sheet. Using your knuckle, put an indent in the middle of each cookie. You may want to wet your knuckle if the dough is sticky.

Next add raspberry preserves in the middle of each cookie.

Bake on 350 for 10 minutes or until the cookies are golden brown around the edges.

You can also substitute the preserves for jimmies (sprinkles) .

Recipes yields about 18 cookies. They are delicious.
