Ingredients: Crust: Caramel Layer: 2 c All purpose flour 2/3 c salted butter, softened 1 c Firmly packed brown sugar 1 c pecan halves 1/2 c Salted Butter, softened 1 c Pecan halves Chocolate: 1 c. Real semi-sweet chocolate chips
Heat oven to 350

Directions:Heat oven to 350F. Combine all crust ingredients EXCEPT pecans in large bowl. Beat at medium speed til mixture resembles fine crumbs. Press onto bottom of ungreased 9 x 13" baking pan. Place pecans evely over unbaked crust.
Combine 2/3 cup butter and 1/2 cup brown srugar in 1 quart saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until entire surface of mixture begins to boil. Continue cooking stirring constantly for 1 minute. Pour mixtue evenly over pecans and crust.
Bake for 18 22 minutes or until entie caramellayer is bubbly. (DO NOT OVERBAKE.) Remove from oven. Immediately sprinkle with cips; allow to melt slightly. Swirl melted chips over bars leaving some whole for marbled effect. Cool competely. Cut into bars. Store at room temperature.
TIP: You can use a combination of favorite nuts or flavored baking chips for variety in these bars.
