1½ cups sugar
½ t. salt
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
½ tsp. ground ginger
¼ tsp. ground cloves
4 eggs
1 can (29 oz.) Libby's pure pumpkin
2 cans (12 fl. oz. each) evaporated milk
2 unbaked 9 inch (4 cup volume) deep-dish pie shells

Mix sugar, salt, cinnamon, ginger, and cloves in small bowl. Beat eggs in large bowl. Stir in pumpkin and sugar-spice mixture. Gradually stir in evaporated milk. Pour into pie shells. Bake in preheated 425 oven for 10-15 minutes. Reduce temperature to 350 and bake for 45-50 minutes or until knife inserted near center comes our clean. Cool on wire rack for 2 hours. Serve or refrigerate.

This pie is a Thanksgiving favorite with whipped cream! I have frozen this pie, and it is fine.
